I need a light For my dark soul Can't turn back Mistakes, I fall Wait until I'm overboard In all those songs With broken chords Half asleep Rise up, the sun How so fast Have all things gone? Stay a little, give a mock I'm in a lock I'm in a lock Can you swim In the shore of black? I want to sink Upon your back Faintness times Disgusting thoughts Leave your fingers In those odds

The Child 04:19
1991 The year when you came into the world, Paranoid and nervous, Like the following 16 years unfurled. A solid bouquet of ailments you bore, Irritating your young mother's heart, In a family council, together they swore, To entrust the child to grandmother's part. Not bad years, all in all, for a start, Until chaos descended on a rest, New family replaced your father's chart, "Bad parents don't exist," they confessed. Compliant, you grew increasingly wary, Blocking memories, your mind's solitary path, Fog shrouded your journey, all was scary, "What a wretched boar!" they'd laugh. Around the age of thirteen, anger woke, Though quelled by your dear sister's grace, The feeling that you were but a guest spoke, Never leaving you, an ever-present trace. To your mother, it was all the same, Discipline upheld by her chain-bound hound, Your life found its way to a shadowy game, And in the darkness, you grew, earthbound. When you came sixteen, your mother left home, And not long after, you did depart. Family ties would be mended with time, Many years later, after your grandma's end, "I don't know what to say," mother'd chime, And so it goes, an apology to extend. Childhood now visits you less and less, All the wounds gathered and stored in a chest, Life's improved, forever in progress, Yet occasionally, a knock unrest.

about

This is an album about my childhood and the memories it is filled with. About imaginary alien friends and feelings of loneliness. About the desire to fly into space and never return.

The space tragedy recorded on tape is about lost childhood days, memories, and people. Here, I try to step out of my comfort zone and start something that can be very tough for me, like singing in English. I created a song on my phone using the Zeeon synthesizer and Phonolyth reverb this time. I played it through the Cosmos Drift Station, which made a distorted background, and then added tape mastering on top. The most complicated thing was singing, but the result was not as awful as I expected.

Unhuman, it's a straightforward song. It's as easy sounding as it could be. Sad, but with a bit of light of hope like I was when I was a kid. Here, I used strong tape effects on top of synthesizers and a calm ambient texture.

Night of the Living Dead used a speech sample from the original movie. It was a way to add some dynamic to the album and show not only sadness but also fear and the starting feeling of the escape.

The Child is an honest song about my childhood. About family ties, parental indifference, and the chronology that stayed with me. The song touches on fragments from childhood, youth, and dark experiences locked in a chest that sometimes cracks.

Party On The Moon is a try to feel happy outside of home. Running away faster than your thoughts. Sometimes is the thing that makes you forget.

In the Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub, I made an open homage to Rick and Morty as a Space Odyssey of modern times. It's a funny explosion of this album in a metaverse. Fast and boomy synthwave.

My Friends Are Aliens marks the transition to the final part of the album. It dramatically releases the tension and tells the story of the decision to fly away to your alien friends. I recorded this song using an organic loop on my Op-Z, a little rhythm part on Polyend Play, and some live drumming. All the parts are slightly out of order because the escape has not yet been formalized.

The penultimate song of the album is called Old Rover and puts an end. I'm not a child anymore. Here I used an ambient part on my Op-Z with my live play on electronic drums.

Snow Outside My Spaceship Window used only electric guitar and effects. I wanted to show epic space outside the window. But stay in a minimal setup at the same time. A Warm Audio ODD Overdrive creates a noisy, powerful sound that goes to the Mood II pedal. Mood II adds a delay and stretching to notes. This effect is already quite spacey but becomes more extensive with the Soma Cosmos on top. Soma Cosmos records this sound and adds an attractive dynamic-pitch tail to it. Last but not least, records come to DAW and are recorded on three separate tracks with the left, right, and central pan. Each track has an extra delay and unique minor effects for lushes. It's a loud and crucial song for this album.

BeatBoyNinja Cyprus

I'm the BeatBoyNinja, an electronic music God. I am an ancient vampire that lived in the field for about 10.000 years. And in the field, I feeled. I felt Earth, grass, ants, and music. Music was everywhere. I looked at my hand - it was music. I looked at my nuts - it was music. So, yes, I became an electronic music God. Music just came through me. So, now you can listen. Now you can understand. ... more
